As for being jealous or what not - not really I like the VG30DETT a lot, I think it's a great motor and unlike 1/2 the F&F clowns I meet I don't think that a inline 6 w. a single turbo (ie Supra) is the greatest and bestest, yo. Do you know the weight difference between the 2 motors and HOW placment in the engine bay will effect weight distibution - I don't but I'm not going to just assume it will be "better".

You might want to consider that in Japan the brake booster & MC and the steering are on the opposite side of the engine bay this MAY complicate shoehorning a motor w. a large turbo on one side into a US engine bay - just a theory.

If you want more pictures of the hood issue, I can scan them tonight since these are not all that clear and easy to make out.
